Police & Thieves

Creative direction and brand identity design, packaging, signage for Police & Thieves, a women and minority-owned cannabis dispensary in Denver, Colorado.

The Police & Thieves visual identity plays with the idea of authority employing an anti-symbol with sarcasm to brand a product that was once illicit. The minimal color palette and bold design approach is meant to elevate and stand apart from the otherwise expected neon green cannabis shops found throughout Denver, prioritizing a considered design aesthetic and give a voice to a once marginalized voice in the marketplace.

We designed signage for both locations, in Cherry Creek and on East Colfax Avenue, using large illuminated signage, as well as, exterior murals on the building's exteriors. Other collateral includes merch, print advertisements, interior signage, wallpaper, packaging and more.
