Leon 1909 Branding

Leon 1909 is a coastal French-inspired restaurant in Shelter Island. The menu is locally sourced and focuses on wood-fired cooking with an extensive wine list of natural and biodynamic producers.

The visual identity consists of a hand-painted logo, vernacular typography, menu design, signage, illustrations and other collateral. The typeface was sourced from 1800s Shelter Island ephemera.
