Lalou Visual Identity
Visual Identity, Custom logotype, Signage, Website, and collateral for acclaimed Brooklyn Natural Wine Bar.
The logotype was inspired by a trip to Bordeaux and preserved broad-side signage still visible within the historic center - a condensed serif in the Didone-style commonly used for châteaux wine publicity since the early 1900s. Like most modern natural wine bars, a hand-drawn element plays heavily into the identity to speak to the provenance and small batch nature of the products sold.
In addition to the standard fair: logo, menu and signage, we created on-going publicity and ephemeral items including a placemat, wine club promotional materials, no choking signage, and more.
