In The Mesh Identity
We consulted with goTenna to design a custom logotype and font for In The Mesh, a publication that focuses on big questions around tech: What is technology’s impact on society? Who controls and who benefits? How can technology advance responsibly and equitably? goTenna is a technology company focusing on increasing access, scale, and resiliency to connectivity by decentralizing communications.
The custom typeface is designed with a gestalt DIY aesthetic in mind, to appeal to the audience of like-minded individuals who believe communication is essential and should be something anyone can create on their own, rather than remain limited to top-down systems you can plug into.
Practical People designed the identity for goTenna in 2013, view the case study here.
